An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Planner to join the Mimco Merchandise Planning team in this contract opportunity until August 2027. This role is ideal for an analytical and commercially minded individual looking to build their career in retail planning.

Working closely with Planners, Buyers and Allocation Analysts, you will support the development and execution of merchandise plans, monitor sales and stock performance, manage forecasts and markdowns, and provide insights that drive business outcomes.

How You Will Contribute

  • Support seasonal planning, forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Analyse sales, stock, profit and markdown performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Assist with stock allocation, replenishment and inventory management across stores and online.
  • Prepare weekly trade reports and post-season analysis.
  • Collaborate with Buying, Allocation, Digital and Store teams to optimise product performance.
  • Present category performance insights and recommendations as required.

Capabilities We Value

  • Degree in Commerce, Business, Retail or a related field.
  • Previous experience in merchandise planning, allocation or retail analytics is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel capability.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
