The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for driving a world-class retail experience by delivering a high standard of visual merchandising in store, focused on commerciality, reflecting brand values, creative direction, and customer profile. This role ensures a consistent and engaging customer journey across all departments, working closely with the Store/Cluster Manager, retail team and support center visual merchandising team in executing the brand vision.
How You Will Contribute
- Plan all floor moves in conjunction with relevant store/department manager to maximise sale opportunities as well as maintaining brand standards
- Ensure that the commercial and visual needs of the business are balanced when implementing merchandising or displays
- Provide support to store teams to by assisting in their training and development needs in relation to visual merchandising.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and provide training on VM and brand standards where appropriate.
- Strong styling of mannequins in windows and focal areas and top of shelf displays are in line with VM direction at all times.
- Ensure merchandising decisions are related to business results at all times, ensuring a focus on merchandising for profit.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively both within a team and autonomously as required
- Actively maintain a safe place to work for team members and everyone who visits our store with a focus on promoting wellbeing
- Role model Country Road Group (CRG) cultural attributes, to create and consistently build a team experience that encourages learning, ownership and shared success
Capabilities We Value
- Previous experience within a comparable VM role both In-store and apparel based divisions
- A genuine desire to be part of the Country Road Group and alignment with our cultural attributes
- Demonstrates a passion for fashion with a professional personal presentation
- Strong leadership skills in delivering an exceptional customer and team experience
- Ability to manage budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating efficient rosters
- Experience managing the performance, productivity, training and development of a team
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service
