We are seeking a commercially minded and strategically driven Finance Business Partner to join the Country Road Group to support our Retail, Wholesale and Customer & Digital teams. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with the General Managers and the Finance Leadership to influence decision-making, drive performance, and support the achievement of our financial and strategic objectives.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering actionable insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting the development of robust financial plans. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring alignment between financial performance and broader business strategies, helping shape the future of our brand or functional area.
Key Accountabilities
Partnering with Executives and Senior Leaders to develop and deliver strategic and operational plans through impactful reporting, analysis, and financial insights
Deliver insightful analysis, reporting, and commentary to highlight performance trends, risks, and opportunities
Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Finance to develop and refine medium-term plans that align with group and channel strategies for Retail, Wholesale and Customer & Digital
Use a deep understanding of business dynamics and key profit drivers to influence commercial outcomes
Act as a trusted advisor to non-financial stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights
Continuously improve financial processes, reporting tools, and forecasting models
Key Capabilities
Proven experience in a finance business partnering or commercial finance role ideally in a retail environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills
CA/CPA Qualified
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data in ways that are effective and readily understood
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities
Commercially savvy, with a deep understanding of business drivers and strategic thinking
Experience with financial systems, preferably Oracle Financials and EPM or equivalent reporting/forecasting tools
