Purpose

The role of the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for the successful development and end to end execution of graphic design across Marketing, Digital and Visual Merchandising channels. They will oversee the Graphic Design function, leading and developing a team of graphic designers. They will be proficient in creative thinking and design development, typesetting and have a considered approach to the creative process ensuring a high standard of design is achieved. The Senior Graphic Designer will champion Witchery’s brand guidelines ensuring the brand is executed in a consistent way through all channels

Key Accountabilities

Graphic Design 

• Conceptualise, design and execute creative communications, interpreting the campaign direction set by the Creative Manager, across all communication channels including email, website, social media, above the line advertising, public relations, packaging and in store
• Participate in all content planning sessions, bringing an understanding of emerging creative trends and competitor activity
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends and digital design tools

Campaign Support 

• Assist the Creative Manager with the creative development and art direction for Witchery campaigns and content shoots, including where applicable creative concepts, photo shoots, talent, locations, post-production elements, retouching, asset delivery and storage, ensuring assets are delivered on brand, on time and on budget
• Assist the Creative Manager with any ad hoc creative concepts where required, ensuring synergy between campaign and content shoots

Reporting, Budgeting and Leadership

• Weekly creative workflow management
• Quarterly deep dive creative reviews
• Maintain accuracy of the marketing calendar
• Develop and lead a high performing Graphic Design team building a positive and collaborative culture

Key Capabilities

Experience in a similar role working across graphic and digital design (previous fashion experience highly regarded)

• High level of understanding for Responsive design across multiple devices
• Exemplary knowledge of graphic design applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects
• Knowledge of workflow management systems such as Monday.com
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Display initiative and willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills
