The VM Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the visual merchandising production team, ensuring the efficient and timely execution of all visual merchandising projects. This role involves managing a team of VM Production Managers, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving the production process from design concept to in-store implementation.
Key Accountabilities
Oversee the day-to-day production activities of the team, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Key Capabilities
Experience in visual merchandising production management, sourcing, or a similar role within the retail sector.
Experience leading and managing a team of production specialists.
Deep understanding of manufacturing and logistics, including impacts on lead times and costs.
Proficient in project management software and communication tools.
Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.
Knowledge of sustainability and ethical compliance standards, such as GBJ (Good Business Journey).
Understanding of visual merchandising principles and best practices.
Strong analytical skills to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and support cost and margin management.
