The Non-Trade Procurement Business Partner will lead strategic Non-Trade Procurement initiatives to optimise non-trade supplier costs and manage risk, focusing on Logistics, Property and Facilities, and Digital and Information Technology. This role involves building and maintaining a strategic sourcing pipeline, identifying optimisation opportunities, and achieving annual efficiency targets. The NTP Sourcing Business Partner will mentor stakeholders during contract renewals and champions procurement policies and governance across the business, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Procurement Policies & Procedures Management
Act as the expert on Delegations of Authority, Procurement Policy, and procedures, providing leadership and guidance to key business stakeholders and partner with key business stakeholders to deliver value-based insights that enhance compliance these policies and procedures.
Opportunity Assessment & Stakeholder Engagement
Identify and share external insights on new opportunities and lead opportunity assessment workshops to identify non-trade procurement initiatives that will add value and align with key strategic and business priorities.
Strategic Sourcing
Lead the delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives in line with project objectives and timelines by collaborating with key business subject matter experts.
Contract Expiry & Transition Management
Manage contract expirations for strategic sourcing activities and contracts managed by business stakeholders and ensure timely renewal of contracts across the organisation.
Key Capabilities
Extensive Strategic Sourcing experience across Logistics, Property and Facilities, Information Technology and Professional Services and Marketing categories ideally in retail or FMCG
Experienced in evaluating and analysing pricing structures and models, including the review of alternative operating and delivery models.
Comprehensive understanding of Australian Contract Law as it pertains to the purchase and supply of goods and services.
Skilled in assessing opportunities and developing business cases to support strategic decision-making.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including options analysis along with solid commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and achieve strategic sourcing outcomes within defined project timelines.
