As the People Business Partner , you will play a crucial role in delivering the people agenda across Sourcing & Supply Chain within the Country Road Group.
Reporting to the Head of People - Group Functions, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Sourcing & Supply Chain leadership team and our Omni Fulfillment Centre (OFC) team members to deliver an exceptional service to our customers. This is a true generalist role where you will drive a positive impact across all aspects of the team member life cycle, focusing on advisory and driving projects through to completion.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Partnering with leaders on shaping people solutions and priorities in support of the business area strategy
Building management capability and providing coaching and guidance to managers where required
Coaching and supporting leaders on people topics and issues, including interpretation of industrial instruments, escalating to the Employee Relations team when required
Collaborate with the Centre of Excellence (COE) teams to ensure fit-for-purpose people solutions
Executing cyclical Performance, engagement, remuneration and talent processes lead by CEO teams
Leveraging data insights and knowledge to inform people interventions that align with both the business strategy and the broader People plan
Mixing commercial objectives with the needs of our people to create an engaging team experience
Shaping and delivering people initiatives for continuous improvement that support the broader Sourcing and Supply Chain people plan,
The Sourcing & Supply Chain People Business Partner will be required to work from our Omni Fulfilment Centre (OFC) in Truganina 1-2 days a week.
Operating as a change champion, you are comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment where you apply a people-first and pragmatic commercial mindset to everything you do. With outstanding relationship building and stakeholder management skills, you love to partner with stakeholders, supporting them to create the conditions for high performing teams.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Generalist Human Resources experience in advising on both operational and strategic focuses, ideally with warehousing / supply chain functions
Experience in supporting both white collar corporate functions and blue-collar operations (Desirable)
Demonstrated capability in advocating and supporting on the execution of People plans for large teams
Excellent influencing skills, with an understanding of driving change on a large scale
Proven ability to solve problems creatively and draw upon best-practice approaches
Experience operating and advising on Awards and/or Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
A completed tertiary qualification majoring in Human Resources (or equivalent)
Exposure to org design principles and wider project/change management capability
An openness to support the full range of people activities, from partnering with senior leaders, to supporting the operational aspects of people movements and changes
As an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter, you work well both autonomously and as part of a team, and your organisation, prioritisation and time management skills are second to none. As a true professional in your field, you have high attention to detail and possess a positive, can-do attitude!
