The role of the Digital Manager is to support the Head of Digital in delivering the digital & ecommerce objectives across all Politix digital channels – providing the best customer experience and driving a profitable online business outcome. This position within the Politix Digital team is responsible for partnering with the Marketing, Group Digital, IT and our digital partners to drive online sales for Politix. There is also a need to work collaboratively to support all areas of the business to deliver digital initiatives that support these functions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all nominated products are merchandised correctly & effectively on Politix and third-party websites by key launch dates.
  • Ensure all appropriate imagery and content is provided and delivered on site and that content aligns to Merchandise & Marketing Plans
  • Measure & monitor online performance, presenting customer insights & trade results. Identify insights and make recommendations to improve trade outcomes
  • Work with the internal merchandise teams to ensure that there is effective ranging online, constantly re-evaluating opportunities for online specific requirements – volumes, range extensions / expansions
  • Use online metrics and site KPIs to identify areas of improvement and strategic opportunities for the business including SEO, CX enhancements, UX improvements, trade & merchandising improvements
  • Work with the other Digital teams’ resources to ensure that our website is accurately maintained, and processes are adhered to within our relevant systems i.e. Salesforce, Order Dynamics, Bazarvoice etc.
  • Provide insights & recommendations to the Head of Digital and wider business as required, toward improving both our Digital strategy and online sales performance
  • Report on Quarterly key insights from the digital roadmap
  • Research competitor brands and market trends in Digital recommendations of improvements
  • Support the Head of Digital with identifying new opportunities for improvement and resolve customer pain points
  • Manage and deliver costs against relevant planed budgets for Online Store P&L
  • Act as a connector between the Politix business stakeholders and relevant technical leads / external vendors
  • Set performance KPIs for team (Digital Coordinator), review and ensure development plans actioned.

Key Capabilities

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating an ecommerce business and working across digital operations:

  • Demonstrated experience working with internal teams, technical vendors and commerce partners to achieve online success
  • Demonstrated experience managing online product content and merchandising on a retailer’s website (preferably within fashion retail)
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing/managing operational eCommerce activities that pertain to site content and merchandising, promotional execution, and digital stock management
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a key conduit to business & IT teams with respect to eCommerce site break-fix and technical support
  • Well-developed communication, time management and organisation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Accuracy and exemplary attention to detail
  • Understanding of website content management systems
  • A drive towards contributing towards retail excellence and digital growth
  • Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment whilst maintaining composure.
