Reporting to the Head of Retail - NZ, you'll lead Visual Merchandising operations across New Zealand for Country Road, Witchery, Trenery and Politix, partnering with store teams to create inspiring customer experiences while delivering commercial results.
In this dynamic role, you'll coach and develop teams to confidently execute visual merchandising, balancing creativity with brand consistency, customer needs, operational excellence and data driven insights to deliver commercial outcomes.
You'll be the link between brand vision and in-store execution, translating VM strategies into practical, store specific solutions that reflect local market nuances and individual store layouts. You'll also lead key VM projects from concept to completion, ensuring they're delivered on time, to budget and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an in-depth understanding of product collections, briefs, and the overall brand strategy across Country Road, Trenery, Witchery and Politix to deliver VM excellence aligned to brand vision
Ensure that store layouts reflect brand identity while maximising space and enhancing customer experience
Work closely with the Retail Regional Managers to prioritise store visits based on VM needs and strategic focus
Provide coaching and development to store teams, focusing on the "art and science" of visual merchandising and empowering Store Managers to own the execution of VM requirements in their stores
Track and monitor the execution status of store VM roll-outs to ensure timely, accurate, and safe completion
Identify opportunities to simplify and optimise the VM process, improving both the instore team member experience and the customer journey
Implement and adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
Attributes you possess
Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles and best practices
An eye for detail and the ability to translate VM guides into elevated execution
Proficiency in analysing product performance data and applying it to VM strategies
Previous experience coaching and developing teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and Store Managers
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process optimisation and efficiency
