The PR & Events Coordinator is instrumental in bringing Witchery’s brand story to life through impactful public relations, influential partnerships and elevated event experiences. Supporting the execution of the brand’s PR and events strategy, this role helps shape cultural relevance, strengthen brand desirability and amplify awareness across key audiences.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, media contacts, talent and external agencies, the role delivers compelling brand moments - from influencer collaborations to premium events, generating meaningful engagement, earned media and lasting brand advocacy.
How you will contribute
Build and maintain an up-to-date media and press contact database
Assist in the creation of press releases, media materials, interview notes and reactive responses
Support proactive media pitching across digital, print and broadcast channels
Track and report on media coverage using media monitoring tools
Maintain product, stylist and media loan requests, ensuring samples are tracked and returned in a timely manner
Coordinate media image galleries, product details and digital asset management
Support competitor, trend and industry monitoring across media and social platforms
Support the execution of Witchery’s collaborator, tastemaker and influencer program in line with brand strategy
Assist in sourcing, briefing and coordinating influencers and talent, including product seeding and scheduling
Support content approvals, timelines and brand compliance across all collaborations
Maintain influencer, talent and stylist databases
Support the execution of Witchery brand events including briefings, suppliers, guest lists, run sheets and post-event follow up
Assist with internal events held at Botanicca, working closely with Group Communications to create engaging experiences
Coordinate the end-to-end PR sample process, including tracking, distribution and returns of samples across media, stylists, talent, influencers and internal teams
Support seasonal media showings, editorial shoots and events through effective sample preparation and coordination.
Capabilities we value
Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Exposure to working with media, influencers or talent is advantageous
Experience working across multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
