Purpose
This position is responsible for leading the organic social media strategy for Witchery's social channels, which includes Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter. This is a key role at Witchery and will be an important champion for an innovative, digital-first approach to marketing. The role focuses on content strategy, managing scheduling, implementing test-and-learn strategies to drive engagement, brand presence, and community growth. In addition, the position supports the digital customer service strategy across all social platforms. Please note, this is a 12 month contract role.
Key Accountabilities
Social media and strategy and planning
Provide ongoing strategic recommendations for social media, including defining the role of each channel based on brand pillars, execution plans, analysing key metrics, and evolving strategy as needed
Managing content, including creating engaging content calendars, ideation, capturing platform-specific content on shoots, and repurposing existing customer content when necessary.
Drive the development and execution of content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and other relevant social platforms.
Conduct weekly and quarterly reporting, analyse channel performance, and optimise strategies to drive engagement, community growth, or revenue as required
Create and manage dashboards for tracking social media KPIs and progress towards goals.
Key Capabilities
Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing / digital, or equivalent experience
Minimum three-to-five years of professional experience managing and executing commercial social media channels.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving social trends.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling copy and conveying complex ideas clearly.
Basic video editing skills preferred but not essential.
