Purpose

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the People Services team at Support Centre as a People Services Coordinator.

In this role, you will act as a trusted administrator and first point of contact for our Frontline Team Members, Line Managers, and People Business Partners. Key focus areas of this role are on HR administration and employee experience. You will provide guidance and support on people-related matters and help deliver practical, efficient HR solutions that ultimately enhance the team member and customer experience.

Key Accountabilities:

  • HR administration and employee lifecycle support
  • Respond to first line queries and requests across full lifecycle
  • Manages policies in defined area, ensuring they are compliant, up-to-date and accompanied by straightforward employee-centric guidance to embed understanding
  • Curation of the effective collateral to ensure employees have a simple and straightforward employee experience
  • Process employee letters, internal transfer requests, contracts & changes to organisational structure.
  • Assist with employee management including performance review support, allowance calculations, service recognition, termination & on-boarding of brand partners.
  • Supports annual delivery of HR processes and procedures through client groups, i.e. Seasonal Retention, Product Allowance, and Casual clean up.
  • Create reports for HR partners on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

Key Capabilities:

  • Strong retail knowledge and understands store operations
  • Can confidently manage high volumes of work
  • Is organised, detail-oriented, and a natural problem solver
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills 
  • Data entry, Microsoft Excel skills, Confident in Microsoft office suite
  • Appreciation for the importance of employee experience and what steps can be taken to improve this space
