Purpose
The Digital Creative Lead role is an exciting new role for Country Road and will manage digital-first creative concepting, planning, development and execution to support the strategic and commercial goals of the brand. Reporting into Country Road’s Creative Manager, this role is responsible for digital-first content including social-first video, animation and digital creators – working both in-house and with external partners to innovate and scale Country Road’s approach to digital content. This role will also support the broader Country Road Creative team on brand campaign and product creative, bringing a digital-first lens to what we do, ensuring alignment and innovation across all channels. To be successful in this role, you will bring an innovation mindset to the team – looking at ever-evolving digital content trends to identify opportunities to continuously evolve the brand’s content mix.
Key Accountabilities
In partnership with the Head of Marketing and Creative Manager, develop a digital content strategy and roadmap to fuel brand and commerce across digital platforms
Digital-first creative concepting, planning, development and execution
Concept and produce digital-first content for Country Road’s existing seasonal product shoots
Spearhead new digitally native content development streams – including iPhone capture, CGI, animation, illustrations and more
Work with internal and external partners to develop content, including digital freelancers and creators
Support the broader Country Road Creative team on brand campaign and product creative, bringing a digital-first lens to what we do, ensuring alignment and innovation across all channels
Work with and oversee the output of the graphic design and copywriting teams
Work in partnership with cross-functional teams – especially marketing, customer insights and product teams – to ensure content is developed in tune with customer, commercial and channel priorities
Ensure all digital content output has clear measurable goals, and work with marketing colleagues to use performance insights to continuously improve content output
Monitor new digital and innovation trends, to identify opportunities to continuously evolve the brand’s content mix.
Key Capabilities
A degree in creative arts, graphic design, video editing, marketing, communications, or a related field
Creative, innovation mindset
Graphic design skills
Video editing skills (preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail
Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners
Collaborative team player who values input from others.
