As the Customer Strategy Specialist, you will own end to end delivery of allocated strategic customer growth opportunities for CRG and the brands by conducting analysis, collaborating cross-functionally and interpreting the results. Being an expert in CRG’s customer segmentation, you will create clear, actionable recommendations with implementation plans. Additionally, you will coach, mentor and informally manage more junior team members.
Key Accountabilities
Own the end-to-end delivery of allocated strategic customer growth opportunities – frame the problem, form a hypothesis, conduct the analysis, collaborate cross-functionally, interpret the results, estimate the size of prize in commercial terms and culminate in clear, actionable recommendations to brands for the opportunity.
Customer opportunities may include topics such as pricing and promotions international expansion, product design process improvements to incorporate feedback, optimising the returns process to balance customer satisfaction with commercial outcomes.
Identify the need for and lead the work with external agencies on discrete pieces of work where required on niche topics
Create high-level actionable plans within opportunities to implement the strategic customer growth opportunities and partner with relevant teams to handover to implementation, ensuring change is actioned/embedded with buy in.
Independently perform ad-hoc pieces of analysis on customer topics to meet the needs of the Group and brands.
Contribute to the preparation of ELT/Board reporting on the Customer and on C&D
Key Capabilities
Experience in a top-tier strategy consulting (would suit a first move out of consulting) or strategy team at a high performing organisation.
Strategic background, with structured problem-solving skills and a curious mindset.
Leadership and people development skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills to interrogate data, spot opportunities, synthesise the data and turn into actionable recommendations.
Experience working with stakeholders at mid-senior level (up to ‘Head of’) of the organisation and occasionally presenting full presentations at senior levels (e.g. GM/MD level, ELT).
