As Social Media Specialist, you’ll play a key role in bringing Mimco to life across its social channels, supporting the Social Media Manager in delivering an engaging, culturally relevant and distinctly Mimco social presence.
Working across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook and emerging platforms, you’ll create and curate platform-first content that captures the brand’s aesthetic, connects with its community and drives meaningful engagement.
Stay ahead of social, fashion and cultural trends, bringing fresh ideas and a test-and-learn mindset to the content strategy. From developing content concepts and managing the organic social calendar through to briefing, content creation, scheduling, publishing and optimisation, you’ll be involved across the full social content lifecycle.
You’ll play an key role in building Mimco's online community, supporting proactive community management and digital customer service to ensure every interaction feels considered, authentic and on-brand.
How You Will Contribute
- Develop and evolve the organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTubes, aligned to brand pillars and business objectives.
- Plan and manage the social content calendar, sourcing imagery and influencer content, coordinating shoots and optimising content for each channel.
- Create and curate social-first content, including Reels, TikToks, short-form video and motion, while adapting campaign and shoot assets to platform specifications.
- Lead channel management and community engagement, ensuring content and customer interactions are timely, engaging and consistently aligned to the brand’s tone and aesthetic.
- Analyse social performance and deliver reporting, tracking KPIs, campaign effectiveness, audience growth and engagement to inform future strategy.
- Test, learn and innovate, staying ahead of social trends, platform developments and emerging opportunities to continually optimise performance.
- Manage social operations and budgets, including stakeholder updates, content libraries, partner costs and social media expenditure.
Key Capabilities
- Senior experience in managing and executing commercial social media channels
- Video editing and motion design skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma – highly desirable.
- Retail and fashion industry experience highly regarded
- Relevant qualification in marketing, communications or digital
