Production Coordinator (Fixed Term) - Country Road Group

The Production Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of Production Orders (POs), in line with the critical path and go-to-market calendar. With a strong focus on PO management and supplier coordination, you’ll ensure orders are accurately captured, communicated and fulfilled by our vendor partners.

Working closely with the Production and Logistics teams, you’ll proactively monitor production timelines, identify potential delays and keep key stakeholders informed. You’ll help resolve issues quickly and effectively, driving a smooth and efficient production process and ensuring products are delivered on time and to the required standards. Please note this is a contract role til end of June 2027.

How You'll Contribute

  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring all production information is accurate and aligned with business requirements.
  • Maintain production systems, manufacturing orders, finished goods and variance reports, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure all production documentation is complete, accurate and readily available.
  • Monitor bulk production and delivery against the critical path and go-to-market timelines.
  • Proactively follow up with suppliers on production schedules and escalate potential delays to the Production Manager.
  • Provide regular vendor updates and collaborate with Production and Logistics teams to resolve production or delivery issues.
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders to support timely problem-solving and ensure production milestones are achieved.
  • Adhere to WHS policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment and reporting hazards, incidents and injuries as required.

Key Capabilities 

  • Fashion, Textiles or related tertiary qualification preferred, but not essential.
  • Understanding of sustainable and ethical production practices.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and logistics, including the impact of lead times and costs.
  • Experience managing production orders and building strong supplier/vendor relationships.
  • Confident working with business systems and reporting tools, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage critical paths and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of attention to detail
