We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join the team on a 13-month contract. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring products are delivered to market on time by managing the end-to-end execution of production orders in line with critical path timelines and seasonal trading calendars.
Working closely with Production, Logistics and supplier partners, you will coordinate production activity, maintain system accuracy, manage purchase orders, and proactively identify and resolve risks to support seamless product delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholder groups.
How You Will Contribute
- Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring all production information is accurate and aligned to business requirements.
- Maintain and update production systems, including manufacturing orders, finished goods reporting, variance reporting and system transactions.
- Track bulk production and delivery progress against critical path milestones.
- Monitor production schedules and escalate potential delays or risks to the Production Manager.
- Provide regular vendor updates to support reporting and business decision-making.
- Partner with Production and Logistics teams to resolve issues and minimise supply chain disruptions.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective communication and timely execution.
Capabilities We Value
- Experience in production coordination, production order management or a similar operational role.
- Understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes, including impacts on lead times and costs.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with reporting tools and systems.
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
