As a Finance Analyst, you’ll provide flexible analytical support across our broader Finance team. You’ll play a key role in reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cost centre management and providing meaningful insights into financial risks and opportunities. Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll help build financial understanding, contribute to business cases and deliver analysis that supports informed commercial decisions.

Please note, fixed term contract opportunity until September 2027.

How You Will Contribute

• Support month-end and management reporting, variance analysis and performance commentary.
• Support wider Finance team across planning, analysis and reporting.
• Partner with FBPs to track, reconcile and correctly allocate expenditure to the general ledger.
• Support budget and forecast cycles through model preparation, consolidation, reporting and scenario analysis.
• Provide analytical support for business cases, investment decisions, cost reduction initiatives and strategic projects or ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
• Identify and communicate key financial risks, opportunities and commercial insights.
• Build clear financial models and turn complex data into concise, decision-ready insights.

• Improve recurring reporting and analysis through automation, BI tools, and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Work flexibly across Finance priorities as business needs change.

Key Capabilities 

• Working towards CA, CPA or CIMA qualification.
• 3–4 years’ experience in a Finance Analyst or similar role.
• Proactive curious and collaborative approach with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Experience with financial systems, ideally Oracle Financials and TM1/EPM and experience BI tools including Power BI or Quick Sight is advantageous
• Strong commercial focus, with an interest in business improvement and cost optimisation.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights and understand the drivers behind numbers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data modelling, pivot tables, complex formulas and data visualisation.
