As Australia’s favourite lifestyle brand, beloved around the world, we deliver timeless Australian style that is designed for life and made to last.
The Design Assistant provides creative, administrative and day-to-day support to the Bag Designer (working across all bag product types and small accessories). The DA role is an integral part of the Accessories team, working collaboratively with the broader Design, Product Development and Technical Design teams. This role plays an important part in supporting the end-to-end bags design and development process, from initial concept and research through to sampling and final product delivery.
Working closely with Bag Designer, the Design Assistant will assist with trend and market research, concept development, CADs and design presentations, creating detailed specification packs, preparing detailed proto comments, work closely with suppliers, sample management and the maintenance of accurate product and design information. The role will also provide general administrative and organisational support, helping to ensure product development timelines are maintained, and the design process runs smoothly and accurately.
This is a great opportunity for a creative, highly organised and detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced fashion environment, develop their technical and creative skills, and build a strong understanding of the end-to-end bags design and development process.
