As the Audit Manager, you will lead Country Road Group’s Internal Audit function, providing independent assurance that strengthens governance, risk management and internal controls across our Retail, Supply Chain and Support Centre operations. Partnering closely with senior leaders, the Executive Team and the Board Audit Committee, you will develop and deliver a risk-based audit program that provides commercially focused insights, drives continuous improvement, and supports informed decision-making. You will also champion innovation through data analytics and emerging technologies while fostering a high-performing audit team and embedding a strong risk culture across the Group.

How You Will Contribute

• Lead and manage the Internal Audit function, ensuring a high-quality, risk-based audit program across Retail, Supply Chain and Support Centre operations
• Develop and execute the annual audit plan, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, emerging risks and governance requirements
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up, ensuring consistency, quality and timely execution
• Provide strategic risk and control insights to senior leaders, influencing decision-making and strengthening governance across the business
• Prepare Audit Committee reporting, delivering clear, concise and commercially focused assurance outcomes
• Monitor and validate remediation activities, partnering with stakeholders to improve control environments and mitigate business risk
• Build trusted relationships with Executive stakeholders, providing pragmatic advice that balances commercial outcomes with effective risk management
• Champion the use of data analytics, automation and AI to enhance audit effectiveness, efficiency and continuous monitoring
• Drive continuous improvement across audit methodologies, tools, templates and assurance practices, benchmarking against leading industry standards
• Lead, coach and develop the audit team while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture aligned to CRG's values and leadership behaviours.

Capabilities We Value

• 7+ years' experience in internal or external audit, including leadership experience within a complex, multi-site environment
• Demonstrated success developing and delivering risk-based audit programs that provide meaningful business assurance
• Experience presenting to Audit Committees, Executive teams and senior business leaders, with the ability to influence outcomes
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and internal control frameworks across Retail, Digital, Supply Chain and corporate environments
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate audit findings into practical, value-adding recommendations
• Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels of the organisation
• Exceptional analytical, communication and report-writing capabilities
• Experience leveraging data analytics and technology to enhance audit insight and efficiency
• Professional assurance qualifications (CIA, CISA or equivalent) highly regarded
• A collaborative leader who thrives in changing environments and is passionate about developing people, driving continuous improvement and strengthening organisational capability.
