Purpose
Reporting to the Country Road Group Store Development Manager and working collaboratively with a range of project managers and coordinators, across all brands in real estate and development, the role is primarily to provide support and project management of new store opening projects, refurbishments and closures across our Country Road Group Brands - Country Road, Trenery, Witchery, Politix and Mimco across Aus, NZ & South Africa.
Key Accountabilities
Project Communications, including liaising with Lessor’s and/or their representatives to ensure smooth and timely store fit-outs, re-fits or de-fits
Managing the external approval of store design and layout
Obtaining appropriate council and building permits/approvals
Issuing tender documents to relevant trades and suppliers
Obtaining and evaluating quotes, coordinating teams for fit-out
Day to day communication with shop fitters and other trades people including the coordination of sub
Liaising and managing all trades and suppliers, issuing of purchase orders, managing budgets and processing invoices in a timely manner
Arrange design for and/or manage external consultants (including but not limited to Department Store Design teams, shopping centre RDM, Designers, Architects, Engineers, Certifiers, DDA Consultants and builders) to deliver a resolved design concept, documentation and specification thereafter, through to the completed built product.
Projects are to meet pre-determined programs and capital budgets.
Delivery of projects includes negotiation of all items and conditions including costs and the finalisation of contracts with external parties.
Key Capabilities
Previous Project Management experience (understanding of and experience within a Retail environment would be highly regarded)
Previous experience managing multiple projects
Previous exposure to shop fitting
Strong office administrative skills including use of Microsoft Office suite of programs
The ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy
Material and manufacturing knowledge
Able to read architectural drawings and visualize in 3D
