Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance – Brands, the Commercial Finance Manager, will partner with the Witchery & Trenery General Managers in supporting the development and delivery of the brand’s strategic and operational plan through effective reporting & insights, analysis, and financial modelling. With an ambitious strategic growth agenda across the brands, your financial leadership will be critical to the success of the Witchery & Trenery brands.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract

Key Accountabilities 

• Partnering with appropriate GM with the formulation of inputs for the medium-term plan ensuring they are linked to brand/group strategy and objectives 
• Providing financial leadership and commercial guidance for key brand strategic initiatives including oversight of business case development and other financial analysis as required.
• Supporting achievement of brand/function financial targets and strategy by effective reporting, analysis and insights including benchmarking across brands. 
• Leading commercial support including Identification of specific brand and/or function performance risks and support mitigation and value creation opportunities with leaders. 

Key Capabilities 

• Experience working as a Commercial Finance Business Manager in a retail organisation
• Extensive experience Business Partnering key business leaders
• Strong business improvement/cost optimization focus and a solid understanding of key Retail metrics
• Ability to present complex data in ways that are effective and readily understood 
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management experience 
• Proven experience managing or leading teams with a focus on building capability and supporting development 
• Experience with financial systems, preferably Oracle Financials and TM1 or equivalent reporting/forecasting tool.
