As the Strategic Customer Insights Manager, you will define customer strategies for CRG. Leading a team, you will identify, problem solve, analyse and make recommendations on strategic customer growth opportunities that will grow revenue, profit and any other key metrics. As an expert in CRG’s customer segmentation you will use this knowledge to identify customer growth opportunities.
Key Accountabilities
Champion a culture of curiosity, innovation, and data-driven decision-making across the business, empowering teams to leverage customer insights in shaping their strategies and actions
Lead a team to problem solve the strategic customer growth opportunities Group.
Identify the need for, choose and work with external agencies where required on niche topics and/or for advanced POV
Lead a team to create high-level actionable plans within and across opportunities to implement the strategic customer growth and partner with relevant teams to handover to implementation, ensuring change is actioned/embedded with buy-in
Be an expert in and use CRG’s customer segmentation and brand equity reporting to identify strategic customer growth opportunities.
Own/coordinate preparation of ELT/Board reporting on the Customer and on C&D within the team and with others in C&D
Key Capabilities
Relevant Bachelor degree (e.g. Commerce, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Science (e.g. mathematics, statistics), Law).
experience in a top-tier strategy consulting or strategy team at a high performing organisation.
Some of this experience gained within top-tier management consulting (Bain, McKinsey, BCG). Will also consider mid-tier consulting (e.g. LEK, AT Kearney) or consulting divisions of top-tier accounting firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC), or a corporate strategy team.
Strategic background, with structured problem-solving skills and a curious mindset.
Leadership and people development skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills to interrogate data, spot opportunities, synthesise the data and turn into actionable recommendations.
Experience engaging with stakeholders at the ‘Head of’ to GM/MD level and regularly presenting to ELT.
